As my story continues to unfold, I find myself moving away, far away, from those who try and steal my joy.
Granted, they may not know they do this, even when you may have repetitively expressed it. You can lead a horse to water...
Bad moods, swearing, insulting, gossiping, anger, greed, hate, no communication, grandiosity, never smiling or loving in simple ways, are all things that can send me spiraling. I love to live and enjoy life!
Silence and moving away from this type of repetitive behavior, digging into the promises of God are what saves me. Even if I am hanging by a thread.
Being intertwined with the wrong people will always take you on a unwanted detour. And that detour can take years. This would be a consequence of being unequally yoked.
Save yourself some time. Head down the road with "fruit". Be careful, the road that "seems" to have fruit, can be a devil's trick to the poisonous road. Pay attention. Stay alert and in God's word and he will guide you. He will give you divine discernment.
The way I have found to stay on the fruitful path is not to fight every poisonous detour. Rather my power is my silence and my fuel.
This is all so clear with God at your core.
