It has been 8 weeks to the day that I flew to another state and picked up this little blessing from one of my dearest friends @holly.dunn.7186896 who is a breeder.

Being candid, it has not been an easy 8 weeks, injuring my leg terribly and having a little baby at the same time. Many tests of patients and frustration. But I've been blessed and have made it through!
I have to always remember that she is just a baby and EVERY single thing is new to her! Raindrops, a bite of honey chicken, a vacuum, fancy pillows on a couch, wind, fur blankies, dishwasher sounds, crunchy leaves, car rides...all of it!
Lucy is teaching me that everything doesn't have to be done in a hurry. Savoring moments of snuggling, hugging heart to heart, smelling things, sitting quiet to listen to a new noise, is so important. Dishes can wait, social media can sit still.
You can just be in the moment with your boxer puppy.
She is molding me, with God's guidance, this sweet little sugar roll!!
