It is National Go For A Ride Day!
So I did! I combined it with a shoppe I have been wanting to visit for months, that was quite far. JD Flannel Donuts, in San Juan Capistrano, CA, and they did not disappoint! By far best donuts ever. It was exciting to check that off my list.
I also took advantage to stop by some of my other favorite places on South OC as I celebrated Go For A Ride Day! So fulfilling.
God has been showing me how to be independent, bold, courageous and strong. The Bible says, where we are weak, He is strong. To me, this means we should be strong ALL the time. But I must admit, I am not. I weaken, back away and tend to spend time with some people who weaken me.
That being said, what God is teaching me, I would like to pass on to you.
YOU do not need to WAIT for others to do the things WITH you, that you want to do. Do them anyway. YOU can cook an amazing meal, SOLO. YOU can go see that premiering movie, SOLO. YOU can go visit that shoppe you found out about months ago, SOLO and take that drive! Take pics. Make memories and soak up all that joy around you.
Don't wait for others that falsely promise you their time. They break their word, throw you rainchecks, and crush your spirit.
Keep it moving. Be bold. Stay in your joy.
If you don't see your JOY, create it! Plan your next move and stay away from those who don't have the same mindset.
It takes bravery to go SOLO. But you can do this! Today as I was visiting all of these beautiful places, checking off my "joy goals" and I thought several times of my being uncomfortable, being alone. It was all in my head! I built courage and soaked in the moments taking creative pics, smelling the air, and staying in my SOLO moments!
God created YOU in His image.
He is bold and strong and wants you to be bold!
Proverbs 28:1

Be deliberately bold! If not with another, do it SOLO. Don't miss out on your life!
