At times I have been so deep in a pit and it has been so dark, that I cannot see the light of God's word. However, I always find a way back to it. Those who do not have a relationship with the Lord and are of this world, willl try to keep you in that dark place and use it against you as one of your weaknesses. Do not be fooled. God is always your protection and the right direction.
I stand on this promise today, because there is nothing in this world that can take away the fortress and protection that he gives me.
Not anyone's attitude, not anyone's words. Not anyone's text messages, not anyone's letters or emails, nothing.
Safety, rock strength, shields and power are all at my fingertips with God. ALL of that is packed in the promise of this verse! It is marvelous!
God will never say no when you reach out to him. He is deliberately protective of you!
"I love you, Lord; you are my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety."
